Upcoming Productions

We will not be producing any shows in the foreseeable future.

We have still been toying with the idea of a multi-media presentation, co-written and co-produced by Paul T. Carras.

Regretably, due to time constraints and other committments, we are unable to devote an appropriate amount of time to this large-scale project.

Why is there a figure skater out on the ledge? And, more importantly, will he jump in time for the six o'clock news? It's Friday afternoon in six different (but somehow interconnected) offices, and it's a mad race towards quitting time.

Drake Enterprises and the Mercury Theatre present Herman Melville's classic tale of obsession in an adaptation by Orson Welles, master of the 'theatre of the imagination.' The producer (John P. Inloes) and director (Paul T. Carras) of Drop Dead! reunite to bring this tale of courage, honor and innocence to the stage. In this gripping production, a group of late 19th Century actors rehearsing 'King Lear' are asked to perform Moby Dick without benefit of costumes, props, or scenery, yet be faithful to the story.
